TEFLON®-BASED SHEETS®
PTFE stands for Poly-Tetra-Fluoro-Ethylene and is often replaced in common usage by the name Teflon®, under which the material was patented by DuPont. The material is particularly stable against chemical attack but also against thermal excitation.

Other properties of PTFE are: no contamination of confined fluids, excellent anti-adhesive properties, dimensional stability and strength.

Teflon foam sheets: modified and filled (glass fibres or microspheres, silica particles, barium sulphate particles, etc.)
